The South Korean manufacturer Zalman has released the Acrux II Platinum series power supplies, featuring fully modular cables. These models are available with power capacities of 850, 1000, and 1200 watts, conform to the ATX 3.1 specifications, and have achieved 80 Plus Platinum efficiency certifications. Remarkably, the 1000-watt version also boasts a Titanium rating.
The Zalman Acrux II utilizes Japanese electrolytic capacitors capable of operating at a temperature of 105°C with a voltage accuracy of ±3%. It features a 120mm fan with an FDB bearing that can stop entirely when the load is below 30%, earning a Cybenetics A+ certification for silent operation. The power supply is equipped with eight comprehensive protection systems and is rated to operate in temperatures from 0 to 40°C. Zalman positions the Acrux II Platinum as a solution for high-performance PCs, combining reliability, energy efficiency, and quiet operation.
Recently, Zalman has been focusing on enhancing user experience by emphasizing modularity and environmental responsibility. The move towards fully modular cables not only aids in ease of assembly and cable management but also aligns with global efforts to improve energy consumption standards in electronics. Industry experts have noted that consumers are increasingly demanding products that balance power with environmental consciousness, an area where Zalman’s latest offerings excel.
The adoption of advanced thermal management has been recognized as a significant leap in improving device lifespan and user satisfaction. Zalman’s integration of these features into their new Acrux II power supplies showcases their commitment to innovation in the face of rising energy standards.
Looking forward, the trend towards integrating smarter, more energy-efficient components is expected to continue, meeting consumer demand for sustainable technology solutions. Zalman is likely to innovate further in this direction, offering new models that could set benchmarks for the performance and efficiency of future computing systems.
