Yandex Unveils Smart Security Camera with Advanced Features

Introducing Yandex’s New Smart Home Security Camera: Features and Pricing

Yandex has launched a cutting-edge smart home security camera, designed for both indoor and outdoor environments like apartments and cottages. Priced at an affordable 4,990 RUB, this tech-savvy camera offers real-time video monitoring with sound, motion detection alerts, and versatile recording options. Given the burgeoning interest in smart home solutions, this release is both timely and compelling.

Seamless Integration with Yandex Smart Home

The new IP camera can effortlessly integrate into Yandex’s smart home ecosystem. Users need to connect the device to a Wi-Fi network and add it through the “Home with Alice” app. For added convenience, video feeds can be viewed on your phone, the Station Duo Max, or TV Station, complete with voice command support.

Advanced Surveillance Features

Boasting a resolution of up to 2K QHD and a 103° field of view, the camera ensures comprehensive coverage. It features a 350° rotation and night vision mode, offering flexibility for any surveillance scenario. Recordings can be stored locally on an SD card or uploaded to the cloud with a subscription.

Flexible Subscription Plans

Yandex provides two subscription tiers. The “Standard” plan at 299 RUB/month allows for motion detection zone customization and seven-day video storage. The “Extra” plan at 699 RUB/month includes human detection notifications and 30-day cloud storage. Both plans offer the first month free.

Privacy and Convenience

Yandex’s camera includes privacy features activated via voice commands like “Alice, enable privacy mode” or “Alice, turn off the camera.” For additional discretion, the device can retract its lens and mute using the Mute button. The camera is available now at the official Alice store and major electronics retailers.
