Just a few hours ago, Xiaomi officially unveiled the Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max smartphones, and we already have the first sales report. According to official data, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max set a historical sales record among new smartphones in the price range of 2,000 to 3,000 yuan ($315-$430) just two hours after release. The Redmi Turbo 5 Max is the world’s first smartphone with the Dimensity 9500s SoC and features a 9,000 mAh battery with 100W charging support, a flicker-free display, complete dust and water protection (IP69), and a 50-megapixel camera. The price starts at $315.
