Xiaomi’s New Powerhouse: A Boosted Battery Leads the Charge

Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi Turbo 5 Max smartphone – the world’s first model powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset.

The main highlight of the new model is Redmi’s largest battery ever, with a capacity of 9000 mAh. The smartphone supports fast 100-watt charging and can function as a mobile power bank (output power is 27W).

The Redmi Turbo 5 Max boasts an OLED screen with a 6.83-inch diagonal, 1.5K resolution, peak brightness of 3500 nits, and a PWM dimming frequency of 3840 Hz to protect the eyes. The device’s side frame is metal, and the back panel is made of fiberglass.

The smartphone features an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, full dust and water protection according to IP69 standards, and a 50-megapixel camera. Four configurations are available, with prices as follows: 12/256 GB – $315, 16/256 GB – $360, 12/512 GB – $360, 16/512 GB – $400.
