The manufacturer states that a medium-sized living room can be cooled in just 5 minutes, and its quiet night mode operation does not disrupt sleep. Furthermore, the device boasts high energy efficiency (Super Grade 1 in China) – nighttime consumption in a bedroom is just 2.5 kWh.

The air conditioner comes with a 10-inch smart air control panel that can operate with purifiers, humidifiers, and Xiaomi’s fresh air systems. The series includes six variants of different capacities ranging from 3.7 to 5.9 kW, with the ability to connect up to six indoor units. The system is designed to work in temperatures from -35°C to 65°C. The most expensive version costs $7280 in China.

Efficiency and Market Impact

With its outstanding energy efficiency, the Xiaomi Mijia Central Air Conditioner Pro Dual Fan Series sets a new benchmark in the HVAC market. Its Super Grade 1 classification makes it one of the most efficient systems currently available in China, promising substantial energy savings for consumers. The long warranty period further enhances consumer confidence, positioning Xiaomi as a trusted leader in sustainable home appliances. Analysts predict this product will significantly influence market trends, compelling competitors to innovate further.

Consumer Reception

Initial consumer reviews applaud the air conditioner’s swift cooling capabilities and its seamless integration with other smart home devices. Its quiet operation is particularly praised, as it allows for undisturbed sleep, a common concern among HVAC users. While the price is at a premium, many see it as a worthy investment due to the potential long-term savings on electricity bills and the assurance of durability from a decade-long warranty.
