Xiaomi has nearly completed a significant cycle of updating its mobile devices to the new operating system HyperOS 3 (based on Android 16). According to a report by the portal XiaomiTime, currently, 95% of the 70 planned models have already received the latest firmware. The manufacturer aims to fully complete the plan for global system rollout by March 2026.

In the last wave of devices that are expected to receive the long-awaited update in the coming weeks include the following models: Xiaomi 13T, Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G, Redmi 14R, Redmi 15 series (4G and 5G), Redmi 15C (4G and 5G), as well as the budget Redmi A4, tablets Redmi Pad Pro (versions with 5G and Wi-Fi) and Poco Pad.
Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 is known for its enhanced user interface and improved multitasking capabilities, which have been positively received by early adopters. The upcoming 3.1 version aims to offer optimized battery performance, a smoother user experience, and expanded customization options.
In parallel with the completion of the current stage, the company’s engineers have already begun working on the next iteration of the system – HyperOS 3.1. Beta testing for version 3.1 has been launched for 12 flagship models. Early feedback from the beta tests suggests competitive enhancements in privacy settings and better integration with Xiaomi’s ecosystem products.
