Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Washing Machine Pro Super Electrolytic Smart Wash and Dry 12kg. The new model is now available on JD.com with an initial price of 3,528 yuan ($505), and with a government subsidy, it costs 2,999 yuan ($430).
The appliance supports washing up to 12 kg of laundry and drying up to 9 kg. Its key feature is the proprietary Super Electrolysis technology, which helps clean fabrics more deeply, whiten clothes, and prevent color transfer. The manufacturer states impressive metrics: 99.999% sterilization, 99.999% virus removal, and 100% elimination of dust mites.
The washing machine is equipped with a dual-channel intelligent detergent dosing system. It automatically detects the weight of the loaded laundry and accurately calculates the amount of detergent and conditioner needed. One filling lasts approximately a month of use.
Among its other functions are pre-mixed quick wash, a 12-minute express mode, and intelligent low-temperature drying. The device supports the Xiaomi Smart Connect ecosystem: washing process management and monitoring are available through the Mi Home app, as well as via Xiaomi smart speakers.
As the demand for smart home appliances rises, consumers increasingly prefer models with advanced connectivity and automation features. According to recent market trends, smart washing machines are set to dominate a significant portion of the appliance market, with integration capabilities and energy efficiency being major selling points.
