Xiaomi has introduced its new smart air humidifier, the Mijia Smart In-Car Humidifier, priced at 129 yuan ($18). This compact device with a water consumption of 30 ml/h is designed for use in cars, including the Xiaomi SU7 and Xiaomi YU7 electric vehicles, but can also be used in small rooms.
The humidifier features a cylindrical body with a diameter of 71 mm and a height of 151 mm, allowing it to fit into standard car cup holders. The device weighs 288 grams. The built-in transparent reservoir holds 210 ml and is made from antibacterial material with silver ions. It offers two power modes, and at maximum level, the device consumes 30 ml/h, suitable for small enclosed spaces like a car cabin.
Equipped with smart control technology, it integrates with HyperOS Connect, works with the Mi Home app, and supports voice control via the Xiao AI assistant. Owners of the SU7 and YU7 can activate the device remotely. It is powered via USB-C, with a consumption of only 4.5 watts. Safety mechanisms include automatic shutdown if tilted more than 60 degrees or when water levels are low. The humidifier withstands temperatures up to 85°C inside the case, meaning it can be left in a car parked in the sun. The noise level is less than 32 dB(A).
