Xiaomi Unveils Budget Electric Scooter Amid Growing Market Competition

The company Xiaomi has announced the Electric Scooter 6 Lite, marking it as the most affordable model in the new Electric Scooter 6 series. Positioned below the versions Scooter 6 and 6 Max, the manufacturer emphasizes simplicity, compact design, and acceptable features for everyday use. The scooter is equipped with a brushless motor of 300W nominal power and up to 500W peak. Maximum speed is limited to 25 km/h (15 mph), with climbing capabilities on slopes up to 15%.

The 216 Wh battery provides up to 25 km (16 miles) range in standard mode at a speed of 15 km/h (9 mph) or about 20 km (12 miles) in sports mode. Comfort is enhanced by a front dual-spring suspension with 25mm travel and 10-inch pneumatic tires. The braking system includes a front drum brake and a rear E-ABS. The scooter features three riding modes, a display with basic information, and support for the Xiaomi Home app with advanced settings and motor locking. The frame, made from high-strength steel, supports a load of up to 100 kg, while the model weighs 18.1 kg. Water protection is rated at IPX4 for the body and IPX6 for the battery.
