Xiaomi 17 Prepares for Global Conquest Amid New Technological Advances

Following its debut in China this September, Xiaomi 17 is poised for an imminent global release. New certification data and benchmark results suggest a pending launch beyond China. The latest flagship from the Chinese tech giant was spotted in the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) database under model number 25113PN0EG. The name Xiaomi 17 is confirmed, alongside an impending release in Thailand.

On another front, GeekBench data also confirms that this premium compact smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 system-on-chip, paired with 12GB of RAM. This matches the entry-level memory capacity of the Chinese version. Xiaomi’s newest flagships will also operate under the proprietary HyperOS 3 interface based on Android 16.

Furthermore, HyperOS 3.0.34.0 is being tested for the Xiaomi 17 Pro series, adding new interactive ‘Sugar Crumb’ wallpapers for the additional display. Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to debut soon, and pre-orders are rumored to start on December 15, 2025. Recent rumors also indicate an imminent release of the Xiaomi 17 Leica Lietzphone Edition in Europe.

The anticipation surrounding the global launch of the Xiaomi 17 has stirred excitement across both consumer and industry sectors.
