New data describes the Xiaomi 17 Max smartphone, which surfaced online a couple of weeks ago. This is the device rumored to have a battery capacity of 8000 mAh alongside flagship features. Insider Digital Chat Station reveals that the newcomer will feature a 200-megapixel main camera with an ISOCELL HPx sensor, a 50 MP periscope camera with a Sony IMX8xx 1/1.95-inch optical format sensor, and an ultra-wide-angle camera also with a 50 MP resolution. Earlier, the same insider mentioned that the periscope camera on the newcomer would surpass even that of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.
The device is expected to be released in the second quarter. Previously, it was also rumored to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a large screen with narrow bezels, and an 8000 mAh battery with 100-watt wired and 50-watt wireless charging. In the fast-evolving smartphone market of 2026, Xiaomi seems poised to set a new standard with its state-of-the-art camera technologies and exceptional battery life. The release late into the second quarter has led to speculation among tech enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the official confirmation from Xiaomi on the exact features and prices. As the specs flaunt leading-edge technology, expectations build around the phone’s potential impact on the market share battle against other flagships like the Apple iPhone and Samsung’s newest models.
