The RemoveWindowsAI script from developer zoicware removes all removable AI features in Windows 11, simultaneously helping users disable other features that require manual removal.
Meanwhile, the latest developments indicate that Microsoft continues to expand its AI capabilities, integrating Copilot into even more applications and enhancing the functionality of the Windows Studio effects. There has been mixed feedback from users-while some appreciate the enhanced functionality, others are concerned about privacy implications and system performance.
The script targets all known AI features available today, including Copilot and Recall. Only features present in Windows Insider builds for testers remain untouched. There is also a separate guide for manually disabling AI features that the script cannot handle, including Gaming Copilot, OneDrive AI, and Windows Studio effects.
While competitors like Apple and Google are introducing similar AI enhancements in their operating systems, there hasn’t been a significant rise in equivalent removal tools on these platforms.
