While AI bots have gained their first social network that humans cannot use, programmer Alexander Liteplo launched the RentAHuman.ai platform, where AI agents can hire people for tasks. The platform allows AI bots to employ regular individuals for tasks they are unable to complete due to the lack of a physical body. The platform’s slogan fittingly reads: “Robots need your body.”

Interestingly, payments are made in cryptocurrency, since AI agents lack access to bank accounts. The tasks for humans can vary greatly: pick up and deliver a parcel, purchase something and deliver it to an address, make phone calls, or even just subscribe to the owner of the AI agent. The platform already has over 220,000 registered users, though success is undetermined as there are no other statistics.
As of early 2026, the use of RentAHuman.ai continues to grow with increasing interest in both AI development and human collaborative online tasks. Despite challenges, the number of active tasks has seen an incremental rise, aligning with broader trends of remote work.
The adoption of cryptocurrency for service payments has been gaining momentum, partially driven by platforms like RentAHuman.ai, which integrate digital currencies due to their convenience for decentralized agent interactions. This uptick in crypto transactions mirrors global trends driven by advancements in blockchain technologies, making them an intriguing staple for AI-human interactions.
