Voyah Accelerates Ahead: New Sedan Launch as Sales Surge

The premium brand Voyah has reported strong sales results for November, delivering 20,005 vehicles to customers last month. Cumulative sales from January to November saw a remarkable year-on-year increase of 82%. In light of this success, the brand announced the launch date of its new sedan, the Passion L (also known as Voyah Chasing Light L) – sales in China are set to begin on December 10.

The Voyah Passion L made its debut on September 26 at the Voyah Fashion Night event, where pre-orders began simultaneously. Early adopters of this model were offered attractive bonuses – lifetime free basic servicing, a lifetime warranty on three key electric components (traction battery, electric motors, and control electronics), and a 2,000 yuan ($314) discount off the final price with a 5,000 yuan ($785) deposit.

The new model is equipped with a traction battery with a capacity of 63 kWh, delivering a range of up to 410 km (255 miles) solely on electricity. Interestingly, a fully electric version of this model is not currently planned. There’s support for ultra-fast 800V 5C charging, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in just 12 minutes. All configurations feature dual electric motors, ensuring all-wheel drive. Acceleration to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 4.8 seconds.

The sedan comes equipped with state-of-the-art Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 (autonomous driving) and HarmonyOS Cockpit 5.1 (infotainment system). Various body color options are available for this model, including two-tone Golden Red and Golden Black. The car’s dimensions measure 5,125×1,985×1,522 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,010 mm.

The hybrid powertrain includes a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, and the total power of the electric motors is 516 hp. The fuel consumption when the battery is depleted is claimed to be 5.67 liters per 100 km.
