This is a significant jump compared to previous mid-range devices, more than a million points higher. The score also slightly surpasses the result of the X200 Ultra, which scored 2.9 million points in spring 2025. For comparison, this is about 600 thousand more than the X200 Pro Mini with Dimensity 9400 Plus, and more than double the performance of the more affordable X200 FE.

Excitement builds as the Vivo S50 Pro Mini offers surprises not only in terms of performance but also in its camera. The smartphone is expected to have a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel periscope camera with optical zoom.

Qualcomm will officially unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 on November 26. The first model with this platform will be the OnePlus Ace 6T, followed by the Vivo S50 Pro Mini.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is expected to revolutionize mobile technology by significantly increasing processing efficiency and power-saving capabilities. It is poised to set new standards in performance benchmarks. Moreover, the emphasis on camera technology by Vivo suggests a strategic focus on enhancing photo quality to differentiate from competitors such as the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6T, known for its robust camera solutions. By pushing the envelope with high-definition imagery and powerful performance, Vivo aims to carve a prominent place among top-tier devices.
