Vivo Y500i Lands with Cutting-Edge Specs Amidst Competitive Chinese Market

The Vivo Y500i smartphone, which was unveiled at the end of last year, has officially gone on sale in China. The base version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory is priced at $210, while the higher-end version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is valued at $315. The device is equipped with a 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 platform featuring an octa-core processor, an Adreno 613 GPU, and an integrated X61 5G modem.

Among the notable enhancements in the Vivo Y500i is the inclusion of advanced battery technology. It boasts a large 7200 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support, ensuring extended use without frequent recharging. Additionally, the smartphone features a 6.68-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1520 x 720 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, offering crisp and smooth visuals.

On the front panel is a 5-megapixel camera, while the rear hosts a 50 MP main camera module. The device supports NFC and USB-C. Its dimensions are 166.64 x 78.43 x 8.39 mm, weighing 219 grams. Available color options include Obsidian Black, Galaxy Silver, Lucky Red, and Phoenix Gold.
