Company Vivo, without making much noise, has launched the Y31d smartphone on the market. While its price is currently unknown, the specifications indicate a lower price segment. For instance, it is based on the SoC Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 without 5G support, and the basic RAM volume is 6 GB, although this is better than the 4 GB of the new Motorola model. Additionally, the new Vivo offers either 128 or 256 GB of flash memory.
Another hint at the low price is the HD+ resolution screen. It features a diagonal of 6.75 inches and supports 120 Hz. However, battery life should delight, as it has a battery capacity of 7200 mAh with 44-watt charging. The Bypass Charging feature allows playing while the charger is connected so that the charge bypasses the battery.
Among other features, there is a 50 MP camera, old-fashioned Bluetooth 5.1, a weight of 219 grams, and water protection (IP69).
Interestingly, the Vivo Y31d arrives amidst a growing trend towards longer-lasting batteries and enhanced camera capabilities. By early 2026, several competitive models have embraced similar specifications, emphasizing camera quality and battery efficiency, trying to balance performance and affordability.
In terms of Vivo’s strategy, the company continues to focus on delivering value-packed options in budget-friendly categories, possibly evolving their product line to incorporate more sustainable materials and eco-friendly practices in production, aligning with global environmental developments.
