The New iPad Boom: Apple Arms Tablets with Advanced Intelligence

The base Apple iPad will receive a powerful platform similar to the latest iPhones. Instead of the Apple A16, on which the still current generation is based, the new iPad, according to a leak, will receive the latest Apple A19. These data were discovered in the iOS code. Thus, the performance increase will be quite noticeable. In addition, thanks to the new platform and 8 GB of RAM, the base iPad will gain support for Apple Intelligence.

The new tablet is also expected to get the Apple N1 SoC, which debuted in the iPhone 17. However, the design is likely to remain unchanged.

Powerful Upgrades on iPad Air

The new iPad Air will receive an even more impressive platform. This will be Apple M4. As a reminder, the current generation relies on M3, so there will not be such a noticeable performance jump already expected here. The new Air is also expected to use the Apple N1.

With these enhancements, Apple is paving the way for its tablets to move beyond traditional uses, aligning with the company’s AI-focused future. The integration of Apple Intelligence into the base iPad marks a significant step towards more sophisticated functionalities, potentially setting new standards in the industry.
