The Renault-owned brand Dacia has launched sales of the updated Sandero hatchback in Spain-the 2026 model year. The car has received a more modern design, improved technology, and new engines. Updates have also affected the crossover version, Stepway.
The Dacia Sandero 2026 is offered in three configurations: Essential, Expression, and Journey. Standard equipment includes LED lighting, air conditioning, cruise control, Media Control multimedia system, and an extended range of safety systems. In the Expression version, a multimedia system with a 10-inch touchscreen, support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is installed, and the top version includes a digital dashboard, climate control, rearview camera, and blind-spot monitoring system.
Instead of the base 1.0-liter turbo engine with 90 hp, a 100 hp unit is now installed (for the Sandero Stepway, a 110 hp option is offered). In the more expensive versions, a 1.2-liter ECO-G engine with 120 hp, running on both gasoline and gas, is available. It is offered with both a manual gearbox and a “robot” gearbox.
Cost of the Sandero 2026 in the base version is €13,500 ($14,500), Sandero Stepway 2026 – €15,800 ($17,000). It is worth noting that the Sandero/Logan current generation and Iskra are based on the same CMF-B platform, but in the case of Iskra, it is maximally import-substituted.
Integrating the latest automotive trends, the 2026 Dacia Sandero boasts advancements in driver-assistance technologies and enhanced connectivity features, reflecting a keen focus on consumer comfort and safety.
