Renowned Chinese insider Digital Chat Station has revealed that several new smartphones with similar features are currently undergoing testing. The devices are expected to feature a 200-megapixel main module with a periscope telephoto lens, providing high-quality long-distance photography.
The displays of these smartphones will be flat with a refresh rate exceeding 200 Hz. Whether the visual difference from 165 Hz screens will be noticeable remains unclear. However, experts suggest that while gaming and animation might benefit from the increased refresh rate, the average user might not immediately perceive a difference in everyday use.
Digital Chat Station has previously reported accurately on the specifications of Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, and that the Realme GT 7 Pro will feature a bright Samsung screen and that the Dimensity 9400 SoC will be released earlier than the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
