Tesla has unveiled a collectible figure of the Tesla Optimus robot at a 1:10 scale, offered in China for $29. The new release celebrates the Chinese New Year 2026. The figure comprises over 40 components and features 20 movable joints. This allows it to assume various poses. Its appearance and mobility closely mimic the second-generation Tesla Optimus humanoid robot. Dimensions are 5.5 x 18.2 cm, and the weight is approximately 25 g. The package includes the movable figure itself and two themed accessories.
As of January 2026, the Tesla Optimus humanoid robot project has moved into active industrial implementation and preparation for mass sales. The Optimus Gen 3 is expected to be unveiled in February-March 2026, equipped with Tesla’s newly optimized AI6 chip designed specifically for robotics. Updated: about 1,000 robots are employed at Tesla factories.
