TCL announced the Little Blue Wing P7 Ultra – its first smart air conditioner aimed at maintaining a healthy microclimate, operating on the OpenHarmony OS. The wall-mounted model, boasting a power of 1.5 hp, is priced at 6000 yuan ($850). This device integrates cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies to improve sleep quality, air purification, and energy savings.

AI Healthy Sleep System
The main feature of the new product is the AI Healthy Sleep system, which utilizes millimeter-wave radar technology. The sensor tracks human presence and movement within a 16-foot radius. In real-time, the air conditioner adjusts the temperature, direction, and strength of the airflow, responding to subtle actions such as turning over in bed or removing a blanket. Over time, AI algorithms remember user habits and create personalized work scenarios.
The P7 Ultra is equipped with a dual circulation system, offering a fresh air supply of up to 60 cubic meters per hour. The device effectively filters particles (99.55% of PM2.5), carbon dioxide (99.10%), and formaldehyde (91.94%). An integrated TVOC gas analyzer displays air quality through color signals. Control is provided through voice commands and an integrated Wi-Fi 6 adapter.
Market Innovations and Technology Advancements
In recent developments, TCL’s implementation of OpenHarmony OS aligns with the industry’s shift towards open-source platforms, enhancing compatibility and functionality across devices. The P7 Ultra’s AI capabilities are on par with major competitors like Dyson and LG, who are also incorporating advanced AI for personalized climate solutions.
Moreover, TCL has emphasized sustainable energy use, where the P7 Ultra sets itself apart by combining eco-friendliness with high efficiency. As climate-conscious consumer demands grow, TCL’s focus on reducing environmental impact while maintaining comfort is a vital marketing edge.
