Samsung has quietly commenced mass production of its 3 GB GDDR7 memory chips, operating at an impressive effective frequency of 28 GHz. These cutting-edge memory chips are anticipated to be integrated into the upcoming GeForce RTX 50 Super graphics cards. However, recent updates suggest that their release has been postponed, sparking curiosity and speculation about potential timelines.

In addition, Samsung is currently producing samples of the same memory with even higher frequencies of 32 and 36 GHz.
