The new platform has shown up in the Bluetooth SIG database, revealing its support for the new Bluetooth 6.1 standard. Even Qualcomm’s top-end SoC only supports Bluetooth 6.0. The Bluetooth 6.1 specifications, released in May 2025, focus on enhanced security and energy efficiency.

The Exynos 1680 is expected to be the backbone for the Galaxy A57. The new SoC configuration will include an octa-core CPU (1+4+3) and an Xclipse 550 GPU with 128 stream processors and a frequency of 1.3 GHz.

Advancements in Bluetooth Technology

Bluetooth 6.1 introduces significant upgrades primarily in security measures and efficiency. This latest addition to the Bluetooth family makes data transmission faster and more secure, paving the way for smarter and more connected devices.

Galaxy A57: What to Expect

The upcoming Galaxy A57 aims to highlight Samsung’s innovation in the mid-range market, competing with devices from Xiaomi that showcase similar advancements. Expected features include cutting-edge connectivity, superior screen quality, and long-lasting battery performance, enhancing the everyday user experience.
