Samsung’s Grand Debut: 130-Inch TV Defies Expectations at CES 2026 Preview

Samsung Electronics will unveil its flagship 130-inch Micro RGB TV at The First Look event, hosted at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, ahead of the CES 2026 exhibition. Earlier, Samsung Electronics announced its 2026 Micro RGB TV line, with a maximum size of 115 inches, similar to the 2025 model, and did not mention a 130-inch version.

The upcoming flagship 130-inch model is expected to showcase Samsung Electronics’ technological prowess in next-generation LED-backlit TVs. At the heart of the lineup is Samsung’s Micro RGB display technology, which utilizes independently backlit red, green, and blue LEDs smaller than 100 microns. This structure provides precise lighting control and superior color reproduction compared to conventional LED panels. Samsung combines this hardware with advanced image processing features, such as AI-based upscaling and motion enhancement, to boost brightness and improve real-time visual perception.

In recent developments, Samsung is reportedly refining its AI algorithms to further enhance real-time color accuracy and detail levels, promising an even more immersive viewing experience. These enhancements are expected to position Samsung ahead of its competitors, who, at CES 2026, are also unveiling advancements in OLED and QLED technologies. Despite the fierce competition with innovations from brands like LG and Sony, Samsung’s Micro RGB model is anticipated to attract attention for its sheer size and technical sophistication.
