Samsung has unveiled a children’s version of its Galaxy Tab A11+ tablet. The Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition is available exclusively from the company’s online store for $330. This new rugged tablet differs from most predecessors, featuring not only a very thick rubber case that protects the tablet but also a special stand-hand on this case, as well as an included stylus. Plus, the package includes various children’s stickers.
In terms of technology, this version does not differ from the regular one. It has the same 90 Hz 11-inch screen, Dimensity 7300, and battery capacity of 7040 mAh. The differences lie in the set as well as the software.
Samsung’s proprietary software for children’s devices offers not only expanded parental control capabilities but also various children’s apps for entertainment and learning. Recently, the children’s tablet market has seen competition with products like Amazon’s Fire HD Kids Edition, which also offers robust parental controls and a kid-friendly warranty. Consumer feedback highlights Samsung’s edge in offering stylus-compatible, robust devices suitable for learning environments, ensuring both children and parents have a satisfying experience.
