Samsung has released the November security patch for its Galaxy S24 lineup. This update was initially rolled out in South Korea but is expected to become available in other regions in the coming days. The update size is small-around 300 MB-but this isn’t surprising as it includes no new features, just vulnerability fixes.
The November security patch addresses approximately three dozen vulnerabilities in both Android and Samsung’s proprietary software. Several fixes pertain to models based on Exynos platforms, including the Exynos 2400, which is used in the Galaxy S24 and S24+ across most markets.
The fresh patch is installed over One UI 8 based on Android 16-the second major OS update for the Galaxy S24 series. However, the release of One UI 8.5 is expected in a few months. According to preliminary data, the Galaxy S26 models will be the first to receive it.
As of late 2025, Samsung continues to pioneer in enhancing the user experience by focusing on security and performance improvements rather than merely flashy features.
