Samsung Prepares a Bold Leap into the Future with One UI 8.5

Samsung is vigorously testing its new One UI 8.5 interface based on Android 16 QPR2. Currently, public testing is restricted to the Galaxy S25 series, but company internal servers have revealed working builds for a vast number of devices. This internal testing effort, involving such a wide array of models, ensures Samsung can swiftly roll out a comprehensive update to the final version of Android 16.

The official debut of the final version is anticipated in February 2026, coinciding with the launch of the Galaxy S26 series. The upcoming Galaxy S26 is expected to integrate cutting-edge camera technology, augmented processing power, and fully leverage the One UI 8.5 enhancements to redefine user experience.
