Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold: A Jewel in the Foldable Market Unveiled

The resource SamMobile has published an unboxing video of the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold – the first triple-folding smartphone from the Korean company. The device comes in an unusual jewelry-style box, as well as an unexpectedly expanded package contents.

Unlike previous compact packages where the user only received a cable, the Galaxy Z TriFold’s box is significantly larger and opens like a jewelry box. Inside is a rich (by the standards of Samsung and Apple) set of accessories: the smartphone itself, a USB-C cable, a SIM tray pin, and a 45-watt charger. For Samsung’s flagships, this is a real precedent – the company has not included a charger in the box for a long time. The kit is complemented by a branded protective case with a “carbon” texture. It is made with great care: it not only protects the rear panel and camera unit but also has a separate element to cover the hinge part of the device, providing full body protection.

During the video, the Galaxy Z TriFold was compared with the Galaxy Z Fold7.

According to Samsung’s own internal tests, the large screen of the Galaxy Z TriFold withstands up to 200,000 folding cycles – this is equivalent to approximately 100 folds a day for five years. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is stated to be rated for 500,000 folds. Independent verification of the TriFold’s data has not been carried out yet.

The Galaxy Z TriFold has officially become the most premium and expensive smartphone from Samsung, and judging by the packaging, the company decided to emphasize this status even in small details.
