Samsung Galaxy Series Gearing up with Reliable Batteries and Consistent Charging Speeds

Certification of TUV has revealed the battery and charging specifications for Samsung’s forthcoming smartphones: Galaxy S26 Plus, Galaxy A57 5G, and Galaxy A37 5G.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus to feature a battery with a nominal capacity of 4755 mAh (likely presented as 4900 mAh), which matches the Galaxy S25 Plus capacity. The wired charging power is 45 watts, a feature unchanged from previous models. The flagship Galaxy S26 release is anticipated on February 25th in the United States.

Regarding the Galaxy A57 5G, while the battery capacity remains undisclosed, a 45-watt charging capability is confirmed. Galaxy A37 5G has been certified with a battery capacity of 4905 mAh (its “marketing capacity” will be 5000 or 5100 mAh) and supports 45-watt charging. This power matches the charging capabilities previously noted in Galaxy A36 and A56.

Reports indicate that Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G are set for an early February release. Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to come with a 60-watt charging feature, a modest enhancement over other variants in the series. This continued commitment to consistent battery and charging performance highlights Samsung’s focus on reliability and gradual technical improvements.
