Internal versions of One UI 8.5 have long hinted at code traces related to “Screen Privacy Protection,” and a full-fledged toggle was recently spotted in the interface. Now, another substantial argument has emerged – an updated Samsung Tips application, which conceals information about this flagship’s new capability. According to the animation, Privacy Display will reside in the “Display” section and will receive a separate toggle in the quick settings panel. Additionally, the function can be activated automatically depending on the running application or an incoming notification.
Judging by the animation, the operation principle is extremely clear: when viewed directly, the screen image remains normal, but when viewed from the side, above, or below, the content dims. Insider Ice Universe claims that this image first accurately depicts the Galaxy S26 Ultra model.
