Samsung has not yet announced the Galaxy S26 series, but One UI 8.5 has already revealed new wallpapers for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. These wallpapers were first discovered by the little-known source wr3cckl3ss1, but the well-known insider Ice Universe confirmed their authenticity. Each wallpaper is styled in a specific color: orange, silver, white, pink, black, and turquoise. If these colors correspond to the launch lineup, buyers will have six finishing options to choose from.
Black, white, silver, and pink are likely to become standard retail options. The brighter orange and turquoise variants may become Samsung.com exclusives or regional special offers – similar to how it was with the S24 and S25 series.
It is expected that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will exclusively utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, while the standard and Plus models are reportedly set to be equipped with the Samsung Exynos 2600 mobile platform, manufactured using a 2nm process. Speculations suggest a release window in early 2026, aligning with Samsung’s traditional launch pattern.
Samsung may finally implement full Qi2 magnetic wireless charging support in all three models, alongside slightly larger batteries for the base and Plus versions. This inclusion could enhance user convenience, aligning with industry trends favoring cable-free charging solutions.
