Renowned insider Evan Blass has published what appear to be the highest-quality renders to date of Samsung’s entire upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup, including the base model, the Galaxy S26 Plus, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The images reveal significant design shifts, particularly for the top-tier Ultra, and confirm new color palettes across the series ahead of the expected launch event.
According to the leak, the entire S26 lineup will be available in four standard colors with frames painted to match the body: black, cobalt violet, sky blue, and white. The top-tier Galaxy S26 Ultra will also feature two exclusive additional shades: Gold and Silver Shadow. A notable detail from recent rumors is the possibility that Samsung might move away from the titanium frame used in previous Ultra versions in favor of high-quality aluminum, though this is difficult to confirm from the renders alone. This potential change could be a cost-saving measure or a strategic shift in materials.
The primary design changes focus on ergonomics and the camera assembly. The Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus models showcase a new, updated bezel around the camera modules, which now groups them into a single, unified “island.” This creates a more cohesive look compared to the individual floating lenses of previous generations.
The most significant transformation is seen in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The device has completely abandoned its signature sharp, squared-off corners for a more rounded and ergonomic design. This change suggests a focus on improving the in-hand feel, a move that could appeal to a broader audience who found the previous design too rigid. The iconic S Pen stylus has also undergone a redesign to complement the new chassis.
Samsung’s design evolution with the S26 series appears to be a calculated response to market trends and user feedback. The shift to a more comfortable design for the Ultra could be a strategic move to counter competitors like Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Pixel, which have long prioritized ergonomics. Internally, the S26 Ultra is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while other regions may see the Exynos 2600 chip in the standard and Plus models.
The official announcement for the entire lineup is anticipated at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco on February 25. Evan Blass has a strong track record of accurate leaks, having previously revealed the designs of devices like the Sony Xperia 5 II, Galaxy Note20, and Xiaomi 12 series before their official debuts. This history lends significant credibility to the latest renders, suggesting that this is a very clear preview of what Samsung will unveil.
