Samsung has introduced an atypical product for its lineup. The Smart Keyboard, priced at $110, as indicated by the name, is a keyboard. It is specifically designed for use with smartphones.
The body is made of aluminum, although it lacks backlighting. A key feature is the ability to switch between three paired devices. Additionally, a key provides access to artificial intelligence functions. When paired with a Galaxy smartphone or tablet, this button calls up Bixby or Google Gemini. With a Galaxy Book or any other Windows-based PC, it launches Microsoft Copilot. Furthermore, the keyboard has a key to initiate DeX when connected to compatible Samsung smartphones.
The dimensions are 280 x 116 x 4.3 mm and it weighs 218 g. It pairs with devices via Bluetooth 5.4 and is uniquely powered by a CR2032 cell, lacking a built-in rechargeable battery, which reflects Samsung’s minimalist and portable design focus. However, the longevity of the battery use is unspecified.
