With CES 2026 just around the corner, televisions are once again poised to be a centerpiece of the exhibition. Samsung is betting on a major expansion of its Micro RGB line-a technology first showcased in an ultra-premium 115-inch format at IFA 2025. However, the company is now preparing far more mainstream models. In Las Vegas, Micro RGB televisions ranging from 65 to 98 inches are anticipated. The price has yet to be officially disclosed, but ET News reports that internally, the company aims to bring the cost of new Micro RGBs closer to the existing Neo QLED series. By way of reference, a 75-inch Neo QLED 8K costs about 4.2 thousand dollars, while the 85-inch versions start from 5.4 thousand dollars.

Young Seok-woo, head of Samsung’s visual display division, had hinted at this direction back at IFA 2025, declaring that Micro RGB would appear next year in multiple sizes “at a price that will make consumers feel the value.”
Meanwhile, LG is also gearing up for its first Micro RGB model debut at CES 2026. Both giants are focusing on refining picture quality and energy efficiency with enhanced capabilities such as improved color accuracy and contrast ratios. These developments highlight their commitment to redefining television viewing experiences by pushing the boundaries of technology.
