Ryzen AI 7 445 Surfaces: A New Contender Against Core Ultra 7 365

Yesterday, we observed a comparison between the Ryzen AI 9 465 and the Core Ultra 7 365, which was not entirely fair due to the difference in core counts. Today, the Ryzen AI 7 445 APU, featuring just six cores, has appeared online.

In this case, the number of cores favors the Core Ultra 7 365, if we continue comparing it with this model. However, we cannot yet compare them in terms of performance. The new Ryzen APU was spotted on Geekbench, but the range of different scores is too large to draw conclusions. For example, the processor scores 3691 points in the worst scenario, and more than 9000 in the best. All tests were conducted on a Fujitsu PC. This discrepancy could be due to significant differences in power limits or the nature of tests conducted by the Japanese company. Nonetheless, we now know that the Ryzen AI 7 445 has six cores (2+4) and an iGPU Radeon 840M. This is similar to the Ryzen AI 7 340, only expected to be slightly better due to frequency.

The Ryzen AI 7 445 is expected to be released in early 2026, offering a competitive edge with its enhanced AI processing capabilities. Its rivals in the market, like Intel’s Core Ultra 7 365, continue to be strong contenders with a robust set of features. The Core Ultra 7 365, with its advanced integrated graphics and efficient power management, remains a popular choice among consumers. As technology evolves, the rivalry between AMD’s Ryzen series and Intel’s Core processors intensifies, promising innovative advancements and diverse options for consumers looking for high-performance computing.
