Redmi recently launched the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphones, and now the company plans to expand its lineup. An insider has revealed the screen sizes of two new models in this series. According to the source, two new models in the Redmi K90 series, which may be named K90 Pro and K90 Ultra, will feature displays with diagonals of 6.6 and 6.8 inches. The current Redmi K90 model comes with a 6.59-inch screen, while the K90 Pro Max sports a 6.9-inch panel for users who prefer a larger display.
The Pro version is expected to use the Dimensity 9500 single-chip system, whereas the Ultra model will likely feature the Dimensity 9500 Plus, noted for its enhanced performance capabilities. Recent benchmarks indicate that the Dimensity 9500 Plus offers significant improvements in AI processing and energy efficiency, appealing to power users and gamers alike.

The Redmi K90 Ultra is anticipated to be equipped with a 6.8-inch LTPS OLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. This model will also incorporate a metal central frame and reinforced water protection, representing a step forward in durability and design compared to competitors like Samsung’s Galaxy S series.
Existing K90 models feature speakers co-engineered with Bose, and this partnership might continue in future models, enhancing the audio quality dramatically. A key feature is the potential for an 8,000 mAh battery, offering extraordinary endurance. If Redmi follows its typical release schedule, the K90 Ultra could debut in China by mid-2026.
