The flagship smartphone Redmi Turbo 5 Max is now available in a new version featuring 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of flash memory. It is priced at $490 in China. Despite having a 9000 mAh battery, its weight is 222 g, and its thickness is 8.1 mm.
On the front panel, there is a 6.83-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and peak brightness reaching up to 3500 nits. It uses new M10 luminescent materials, and the DC dimming system with PWM 3840 Hz has received TUV Rheinland certification. The smartphone features a unibody metal frame, rounded corners, and an oval camera module with the distinct Turbo dual-ring LED lighting.
The core of the Redmi Turbo 5 Max is the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip, manufactured using TSMC’s 3-nanometer process. Cooling is managed by an advanced 3D system with a large vapor chamber and graphite layer. The primary camera, boasting 50 MP with a Light Hunter 600 sensor, includes optical stabilization. The device’s independence is ensured by a 9000 mAh battery with support for 100-W fast charging and reverse charging up to 27 W.
Additional features include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP69K protection, and extended navigation capabilities.
