Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Faces the Unyielding Tests of Destruction

The popular tech blogger, JerryRigEverything, has recently turned his attention to the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, subjecting the device to his renowned durability tests, which include scratching, burning, and the infamous bend test. While these trials often come across as more spectacle than substance, they sometimes reveal critical insights about a gadget’s durability.

The smartphone successfully passed the bend test without any issues, although there was a slight moment when the screen began to separate from the frame. This observation indicated potential areas for improved structural integrity in future iterations.

A screenshot from the video reveals the internal structure of the smartphone.

Under the hood, the phone features just two functional cameras, but the primary sensor is notably large. To remind enthusiasts, this is a 200-megapixel sensor with an optical format of 1/1.4 inches. Comparatively, this sensor size and resolution place it in the higher echelon among its competitors, surpassing previous Redmi models like the Note 14 series, which featured only a 108-megapixel sensor.

In terms of user-friendliness, removing the battery is straightforward due to the adhesive strips that can be easily pulled out. This contrasts with some of its peers, where battery replacement involves intricate processes requiring professional tools.

Market feedback has been positive, highlighting not only the phone’s camera capabilities but also its competitive pricing in the mid-range segment. It appeals especially to those who prioritize camera quality without the premium price tag of high-end models, such as the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is priced considerably higher.
