RedMagic 11 Air: Charging Ahead with Revolutionary Features

RedMagic has officially confirmed a key feature of the RedMagic 11 Air smartphone – a 7000 mAh battery, which is touted as the largest in the history of thin Air smartphones. The new model will support proprietary ultra-fast charging at 120W, as well as a passthrough charging mode for gaming, allowing the device to be powered directly without unnecessary battery load.

The RedMagic 11 Air will be built on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 single-chip system, complemented by the proprietary RedCore R4 gaming chip. The smartphone will receive LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 flash memory, as well as a unique built-in PC game emulator. This will allow full-fledged PC games, including Tomb Raider 9, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, and Need for Speed 17, to run on the device.

The new product will operate under RedMagic OS 11.0 with an expanded set of AI features. Among them are smart screen search, object recognition, real-time translation, and gaming tools like an AI tactical assistant.

RedMagic promises that the smartphone will receive as many as 9 ‘advanced technologies,’ details of which will be revealed at the presentation on January 20. The screen will occupy 95.1% of the front panel’s area and will feature an ultra-thin bezel with a width of 1.25 mm It will support a high refresh rate of 144 Hz, high-frequency PWM dimming at 2592 GHz, and is positioned as an ‘optimal solution for eSports’.
