Realme Targets Gamers with the Power-Packed Neo 8

The company Realme has officially confirmed that the presentation of the new smartphone Realme Neo 8 will take place in January 2026 in China. The device is positioned as a gaming powerhouse. It is built on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, with performance in AnTuTu reaching 3.58 million points.

According to preliminary data, Realme Neo 8 will feature an 8000 mAh battery supported by 80-watt charging, a flat Samsung AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.78 inches, 1.5K resolution, and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. In addition, it will sport a metal side frame, dust and water protection rated at IP68/IP69, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and the Awakening Halo light indicator near the camera block for notifications.

The cost of Realme Neo 8 has not yet been announced, but it is expected to align with other models featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Currently, devices with this chipset range from $(650) to $(800) depending on the configuration and additional features. This positions the Realme Neo 8 as a competitive option for gamers seeking high performance without straying into the ultra-premium price category.
