After the recent release of the flagship Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro in China, the company is preparing a new lineup – Realme Neo 8. It is expected to include several models: Neo 8, Neo 8x, Neo 8 SE, and Neo 8 Turbo, which will replace the current Neo 7 series. According to insider Wisdom Pikachu, the announcement of the base model Neo 8 will happen very soon.
Informant reports that Realme Neo 8 will feature a metal side frame, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a large battery with a capacity of more than 8000 mAh. Previous leaks attributed the Realme Neo 8 with a flat OLED screen measuring 6.78 inches and a resolution of 1.5K, as well as a 50-megapixel main camera. However, there are no exact details on the platform yet. Previously, insider Digital Chat Station claimed that Neo 8 would receive Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, but Wisdom Pikachu does not confirm this. Wisdom Pikachu accurately reported the release of Xiaomi 13 Ultra in April 2023 and the appearance of Xiaomi Pad 6 tablets at the same presentation.
In the context of ongoing innovations, it is possible that Realme Neo 8 could see enhanced AI integration in camera functionalities, focusing on improved low-light performance and intelligent optimization of photos. The approach aligns with the latest trends where smartphones increasingly rely on AI to deliver better user experiences and to enhance battery life management.
