The Realme 16 Pro, which is set to feature an “elegant and sophisticated design,” will indeed integrate a Qualcomm platform, as confirmed by the latest promotional poster from the manufacturer.
The company indicates that compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, the new platform will be faster. Despite diagrams in the slide suggesting a significant performance boost, manufacturers sometimes exaggerate these in promotional materials, thus the improvement remains speculative for now. In any case, even the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is a sufficiently powerful platform for this class, easily scoring over 1 million points in AnTuTu benchmarks.
Another Realme poster suggests that the new release will feature a periscope “telephoto” camera, although this may only pertain to the Realme 16 Pro+ model, if it exists. Notably, the Realme 15 Pro+ was never released, and the regular Pro lacks a “telephoto” camera entirely. The smartphone, we recall, is scheduled for unveiling on December 16. As the launch date nears, industry insiders hint at a lifecycle-focused approach, optimizing longevity and user experience, which could include a potential refresh rate upgrade to 120Hz, further enhancing the visual dynamics of the device.
