Realme 16 Pro Enters the 2025 Smartphone Arena with High-Resolution Screens and Robust Battery Life

The Realme 16 Pro, recently surfaced in TENAA’s database, measures 162.6 x 77.6 x 7.75 mm and weighs 192 grams. It will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1272 pixels). Although not specified, it is expected to support a 144 Hz refresh rate like its predecessor. For photography, the Realme 16 Pro is equipped with a dual rear camera setup comprising 200 MP and 8 MP modules. The front camera comes with a 50 MP resolution for selfies.

The device will ship with Realme UI 7, based on Android 16. Its core will be an undisclosed platform running at a frequency of 2.5 GHz. In China, the device will be available with 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB RAM and storage options of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. A recent leak suggests that in India, it will be available in the following configurations: 8 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 256 GB, and 12 GB + 512 GB. The Realme 16 Pro will feature a 7000 mAh battery, with TENAA listing a nominal capacity of 6830 mAh. It is expected to support 80W wired charging, similar to the previous generation. The description also mentions an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster.
