The company Realme has officially unveiled the Realme 16 smartphone. Its design feature is a horizontal main camera block that resembles the cameras of Google Pixel and iPhone Air. It houses modules with sensors of 50 MP (Sony IMX852) and 2 MP. The front camera boasts a 50-megapixel sensor.
Despite the impressive battery capacity of 7000 mAh (charging power – 60W), the body thickness is relatively small – 8.1 mm. The device weighs 183 grams.
The smartphone is built on the SoC Dimensity 6400 Turbo and features an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.57 inches. The body is protected in accordance with the IP69K protection level. This high level signals increased protection against dust and water, making this smartphone suitable for more extreme conditions than typical IP68-protected devices.
The AMOLED display is similar to that used in premium devices, offering vibrant color reproduction and energy efficiency, which is essential given the large battery capacity.
The new model is priced in Vietnam starting from $445 for the 8/256 GB version. This competitive pricing places the Realme 16 among the more affordable options within its feature category, capable of challenging rivals like the Xiaomi Redmi series.
