Graphics cards Radeon 9000 series have yet to appear in Steam’s statistics, but they are unconditionally leading in sales at the largest German retailer, Mindfactory. According to fresh statistics from the past week, the Radeon RX 9070 XT alone sold almost as many units as all GeForce cards combined.
Specifically, the AMD flagship was purchased 925 times, while all Nvidia cards were sold 990 times. The leading Nvidia product, RTX 5070 Ti, had 390 units sold. It’s noteworthy that the second place in the overall ranking belongs to the Radeon RX 9060 XT with 515 units sold.
In total, 1560 AMD cards were sold compared to Nvidia’s 990, but the average selling price for Radeon was 550 EUR ($607), and for GeForce, it was 836 EUR ($923). This means that in monetary terms, sales are almost identical.
By the way, Intel cards are also being bought. 55 units in a week correspond to 2.11% of the total number. Such statistics appear quite unexpectedly when compared to Steam’s data.
In other words, while AMD’s total domination in the DIY market (based on existing online data) might not reflect the overall CPU market because the DIY segment represents only a small portion, the situation with graphics cards is not very different. Nonetheless, at Mindfactory (and not only there) we see huge sales of Radeon 9000, yet these cards have not even appeared in Steam’s statistics.
