According to early data, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro will differ from the regular version by supporting LPDDR6 and UFS 5.0. However, insider Fixed Focus Digital indicates that the older version will retain the capability to work with LPDDR5/5X. Whether it will work with UFS 4.0 remains unclear.

This decision will allow smartphone manufacturers to save costs by not using the newest RAM. At a time when this memory is extremely expensive, such a measure will not be excessive. Moreover, the current LPDDR5X is quite performant. The younger version of the new SoC will only support LPDDR5, so manufacturers will not have to make a choice there.
Earlier, Fix Focus Digital shared details regarding the computer version of the HarmonyOS operating system, leaked photos of the new iPhone SE4 and renderings of Huawei Pocket 2, and also reported that Apple stopped working on a foldable iPhone.
