The Poco M8 will be built on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 single-chip platform and will come with the HyperOS 2 interface layered over Android 15. The display features an AMOLED panel with a 6.77-inch diagonal, a resolution of 2392 x 1080 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Recent reports suggest enhanced color accuracy and energy efficiency, which could set a new standard in its category.
The main camera will consist of two sensors with resolutions of 50 MP (with OIS) and 2 MP, while the front camera will have a 20-megapixel sensor. The battery capacity stands at 5520 mAh, with a maximum charging power of 45 W. Such specs position the Poco M8 as an ideal choice for heavy users and mobile photographers.
Insider Ambhore describes the smartphone’s dimensions as 162.2 x 74.2 x 8.4 mm, and weight as 190 grams (0.42 pounds). Among other features of the device are a microSD card slot, Bluetooth 5.1 adapters, Wi-Fi 5, an IR emitter, and IP68 protection. These make the device robust against dust and water, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.
