Poco M8 5G: Slim Design Meets Robust Performance

The Poco company has confirmed the launch date for the Poco M8 5G, which will go on sale on January 8. Poco is positioning the Poco M8 5G as the slimmest smartphone in its segment, with a thickness of just 7.35 mm and a weight of about 178 grams. The phone will have a two-tone back panel, and recent teasers suggest a combination of matte texture and faux leather. The camera module is centrally located in a rounded body case. Poco claims that this design targets young users.

Previously, it was reported that the Poco M8 5G is set to feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate for global markets. It is expected to run on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of flash storage. The presence of a 50-megapixel main AI camera has been confirmed. The phone will be equipped with a 5520 mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging and IP65 dust and splash protection.

Industry experts highlight that Poco M8 5G’s launch could reinforce the brand’s market position during the strong competitive mobile season at the year’s end. This model might also attract photography enthusiasts thanks to its advanced camera setup. Notably, recent reviews praise the device’s seamless performance and innovative design tailored for contemporary consumers.
