After Google announced that Android Quick Share now works with Apple’s AirDrop system on iPhones, iPads, and Macs, it has come to light that this capability will be extended to other smartphones. Presently, the new feature operates only on the Pixel 10 with the Tensor G5, but this limitation won’t last long. Qualcomm has officially confirmed that Quick Share to AirDrop support will also appear on smartphones with Snapdragon chipsets. This was revealed by Snapdragon developers on the social network X. 
This means that the innovation will not only reach Google devices but also models from Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Motorola, and other manufacturers whose flagships are built on Qualcomm platforms. While exact timelines and a list of chipsets are not yet available, it is anticipated that the latest generations of Snapdragon will be the first in line, followed by updates to more mainstream devices.
